Pascal wins... he's now been in two great fights in a row. And this fight definitely ups Froch's stock as well.

Dawson-Pascal should happen in 2010. Chad will win.

canada can fill an arena for a fight between a hatian and a romanian.

cloud should angle to become pascals mandatory.

Damn Cloud hasnt fought in so long that I forgot about him.

From what I have seen from Cloud I think he'll beat Pascal. Dawson would certainly beat Pascal.

Good fight, not FOTY type but very good. I don't think Pascal's style will ever allow for a FOTY bout but I thought he dominated this fight.

I love the Canadian fight crowds. Great atmosphere. :bears:

Why?.. who was Diaconu?.. Oh yeah, he's the little winger who had ESPN SCREAMING ... TYSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... when he unloaded on a tall willow branch of a scrub named Rico Hoye,... yeah,... it ups Froch's stock alright,...:shit:

This was a surprisingly good fight. I had grown to detest Pascal for his protected status & slick-but-sloppy style.

But after the Froch fight and now this one, I am kind of sold on the guy. He has heart, he's shown that, and he is tougher than one might think based on his style.

He's exciting to watch because unlike someone like RJJ who employed the slick, jump in and punch, jump out style WITHOUT getting hit, Pascal frequently DOES get hit. He pulls straight back all the time, and frequently overcommits to punches and leaves himself wide open. His toughness & willingness to mix it up coupled with his flaws make him a good watch.

I hope the guy has continued success as a lt. heavy.

Pascal looked surprisingly good at 175. How the hell did he lose to Froch? I was never impressed by Pascal up until this fight, I thought he was chinny and average. Good performance from Pascal. I seriously think his speed would give Dawson all kinds of trouble.

I'm Happy that Pascal has a belt, I've been following him since he turned pro.

I would also like to note that Diaconu beat Henry very clearly.

it would make for an interesting styles match up....we haven't seen anyone match Dawson for speed yet. I think Pascal would come up short...but with limited options at 175, it'd be one of the more intriguing match ups out there for Dawson

Didn't get to see it. I saw that baseball was on before the fight and rightfully predicted the fight would get ran over by it as is often the case when baseball is scheduled before Thur/Fri Night Fights.

Shit fucking sucks and makes me hate baseball just that much more.

Really? Well whatever fight was scheduled for Thurs was the one that got ran over by baseball. At any rate I'm about to watch it on Youtube.
