Hatton needs to allow this one to build into a grudge and then just kick the shit out of this guy. There's nothing more annoying than a skinny Gweedore with bad hands and a gay haircut who thinks he can fight.

What the fuck has Malignaggi ever done???

Damn. If I was Tony Soprano, I'd just put a contract out on this fucking kid. He's a discredit to all Italians. There is a hole in a field in Jersey with this faggots name on it.

Hatton should have a tune-up in Manchester get his mojo back.....then fight Malignaggi at the Garden....sometime in May or something...

Nothing, but saying he can't fight is Bullshit. Malignaggi is a really good boxer with awesome speed, movement and tecnique but no punch whatsoever.

He could make Hatton look silly for some rounds...

I wanna see Witter first, though.

P.S. i love when boxers who have a relatively fresh and devastating loss on their record claim to be the best in the world...

Malinaggi says not a fucking BAT for almost 18 months then he crawls out of the woodwork suddenly because Hatton gets KO'ed? WTF? :dunno:

I actually like Paulie as a fighter, and he would make Hatton work for his money certainly, but this shit makes him appear in the same, barrel scraping class as Witter, who Hatton should fight and CANE immediately after a confidence builder against a mook. Say, Gavin Rees?

As OC says in a different thread- the flies are sniffing at the carcass of PBF - Hatton.

However, flies, however loud, brash and FOS, are still just flies. They come from maggots, and are easily swatted aside...

those flies are number #1 and #2 in Ricky Hatton division....so if we give Mayweather shit for not fighting the top 3 Welterweights in his division...then Hatton gets the same shit throw at him.....

but at least Hatton fought Tszyu and Castillo.....who are better than Bumdomir and Judah...

Thats my point. I mean, Hatton fought Mayweather with a crooked Ref 5lbs North of his preferred weight away from home and tried his heart out. What did Malignaggi do? He talked a lot of shit and then basically got beat up for 12 rounds by Cotto. Whats he done since? He beat a former Mayweather opponent {At least I think that N'Dou fought Floyd} and thats it. He has actually never won any really really big fights.

Hatton IS the number fucking 1 at 140.

    Everybody else is something less.

He NEVER LOST A FIGHT AT 140...so....he is still #1

Was Tommy Hearns any less the #1 154lbr after he lost to Hearns @160?

    Please.

Hatton has the Ring belt. He never lost a fight at 140. Paulie has.

No. After the reffing disaster that was Joe Cortez, no more fights in America. Pay Malignaggi and then liquidate the bitch in Manchester. He can limp back to America and say he never got a fair deal and then we can all have a good laugh at him.

 reffing disaster.....wanna see reffing disaster watch Hatton vs. Tszyu...fuck what was the ref thinking..? Hattom could do no wrong in that fight..hug/clinch/twist/headbutt/elbows/holdw/ one hand hit with the other.....nothing from the ref...

Let just say the truth..Hatton isn't very good at 147..and was fighting the best in the world....he need to stay at 140 and fight Malignaggi, Witter, Torres....

The Witter and Torres fight will be better alot better in the UK....

Malignaggi fight could be good in either the UK or NYC....

    Champ: Hatton

    1. Witter

    etc..etc....

AMEN to this! The way Hatton fought Tszyu was FAAR more dirty than how Floyd fought Hatton. Yet the Hatton groupies never seem to mention it.

    That is unfortunately true.

BTW - stylistically Malignaggi is a bad style match-up for Hatton....I think Paulie has huge chances in that fight.

    Peace.

Paulie has very quick feet, is constantly on the move - and knows how to get full extension on his jab.

He also is able to throw combinations from distance - and more importantly, at short-distance on the inside.

He also has underrated toughness and strength.

His stamina holds up over 12 rounds, easily.

It's a very dangerous fight for Hatton, especially over the 2nd half.

    Peace.

I agree, IMO, Paulie's style is the toughest matchup at 140 for anyone. Witter, Hatton, and Torres. Paulie is mateuring as a fighter. His heart has always been there, now he's getting smarter. Plus he puts asses in seats against anyone who wants to come to MSG.

He can't HIT. You can't discourage Hatton IF YOU CAN'T CRACK. And if Hatton can hit you, then YOU AIN'T discouraging him.

Collazo and Floyd did one thing that Pauline won't do: Hit and not get hit back.

Paulie sounds like a fast stand up boxer. Thats it. It has Hatton W12 written all over it. Tougher test at the Garden, easy fight in England.

so you agree that Hatton gets special treatment from the REF over in the UK...he can pretty much do whatever he wants in the ring....clinch,elbow/headbutt/lowblows/behind the head...anything and everything like in the Tszyu fight...AS long as the opponent doesn't do it to him...

Id love to see it just so Ortho would have to shut the fuck up.

I agree about the second half of the fight. Pauli could really murder Hatton with punch count and cut him to boot. Hatton has lost the patina of invincability and smart guys like Pauli are more than ready to take a big fish down.

Hatton should tell that punk if he wants to fight he must come to the UK, then kick the shite out of him ala Lacy and send him packing.

Paulie has a point about Hatton being unwilling to fight the 'young lions' of 140
