I wont be. I see Martinez's handspeed making Pav look ordinary. If Kelly does score a late stoppage I wont be surprised, but currently I'd favoring Maravilla.
Bute should be in the Super 6.....apart from his momentary brain fart vs Andrade...the guy has looked the business. I mean, his anus is prime Max Kellerman territory, he has that Southpaw thing, fast, slick, well tanned, fights in the pocket.....he is a Max Kellerman wet dream, and he should beat the shit out of Miranda, provided he fights smart. That said Bute has not got that toughness Abraham does, so if Miranda nails him, don't expect to see Bute gut it out. Bute KO7 Miranda. Pavlik is a twot, I just hope he loses.
Shocked? You know more than anyone else here that Martinez can fight. You were singing his praises before anyone here knew who he was. It's true that he doesn't have the size, strength, dirtiness and craftiness of Hopkins - but the boy can box. And judging from the Williams fight and the weigh in pics from yesterday, he's not undersized at middleweight in the slightest. He seems solid at middleweight. Whether he can take Kelly's right hand is another thing, but the one thing that the Hopkins fight showed us is that Pavlik can be outboxed with ease, by a faster, craftier boxer with good counter punching. I'm actually leaning towards Martinez winning a decision now.
Got my accumulator set for tonight. Just the two fights....i got Bute-Miranda to last less than 9.5 rounds at 5/6 and i got Martinez to win by UD at 3-1. The two together came to just over 6/1.
Wurd. Although I love this. I've picked against my hero for the past two fights and he's came out smelling of roses both times. Ima do that for the rest of his career :)
