I think Penalosa is going to give JuanMa a tough fight. I could see JuanMa getting put into trouble considering Penalosa's defensive ability. JuanMa has only gone 3 rounds in the past year. I think he gets stopped tomorrow.

Peñalosa is a good fighter but Lopez is too good and younger than him.

Lopez KO late in the fight.

That's the exact kind of beating that kills guys. Roach did a great job of looking out for his fighter there. Penalosa was taking a savage beating and he's too tough for his own good.

JuanMa's homicidal approach to prize-fighting is reminiscent of Tito's when he was a welter-weight. And he seems to have a solid chin too considering the clean shots Penalosa did manage to land that seemed to have no affect on him.

If for no other reason than youth and size I'd pick him to beat Vazquez and Raffy at this point, even though when all is said and done, he may not have as good a career as those guys have had.

Juanma at this point seems to be one of those guys, like Guzman when he was at 122, who just can't be beaten at his current weight. He's just too big for his weight class. The true test of Juanma will come when he moves up to feather-weight and 130 where he will undoubtedly end up, probably sooner than later.

But at 122, it's difficult to imagine anyone beating him, not even Caballero who himself is freakishly big at 122.

:lol: Cupey could not be serious....not even a nuthugger would give Trinidad any kinda shot vs. Hopkins....

Alabama Man...he was serious as HELL...and had PENALOSA won he would be in here spreading his smug...

the same way he doesn't come over to the boxing section unless Pacquiao or some other filipino has a big fight coming up..or just finish winning a big fight..

No doubt Penalosa is a tough dude...my comment was directed at AM who speak of every filipino fighter with an incredible bias....Penalosa ko'ed Juanma...:lol:

Alabama Man only comes into the Boxing Section when a filipino(Pac) has an upcoming fight..make his prediction if he is right..he comes back spreading his smug...Penalosa get OWNED and he ignores the thread..he created with such confidence.
