Does Cuevas penetrate Clottey's guard, or does the Grand Master nullify Cuevas' offense?

A prime Clottey is a Clottey that is not being called out or fought by Floyd. Once Floyd calls him out or fights him you know he's no longer prime. I hope that helps.

Why the shit does somebody do this every time a non-great fighter is called 'prime' as if it makes some kind of point? Clottey's prime is when he was at his career best, just like any other fighter.

Cuevas is the popular choice but Clottey's high guard would work well against a wide puncher such as Pipino. Cuevas has the punch to make Clottey become ultra careful but even so Cuevas does not have the ability to outwork him. Clottey lands more and wins a decision

People should probably watch the Espada & Campanino fights. There's a reason Cuevas racked up 11 defences - because he was way better than Joshua Clottey.

Clottey takes shelter into his primitive shell, takes a shellacking and gets salvaged by the official in strophe seven.

So his career best was between? The Margarito and Cotto fights?

I don't think getting his arse grated by Pac indicates he's past his prime. He's still in it for all we know.
