They’ll never be able to consummate their love and as the two characters ride through the romantic streets of Paris, Jake can only imagine what their love could have been. In boxing terms, he’s not even a contender. “Isn’t it pretty to think so?†That’s unrequited love. That’s tragedy. “Pretty Boy†Floyd Mayweather and the pretty boy, Oscar De La Hoya, both have their manhood intact. But when their superfight was signed and announced, I felt less than love for the upcoming bout.
