This is one that I will be watching with food, drinks, and the big tube turned up. I gotta go with Minotauro again. The man simply gets the job done. I think that Mirko wears Silva down with leg and body kicks to get a unanimous decision even though Silva seems to have the momentum going in.

This Sunday a new #1 challenger will be determined to face Fedor on New Year's Eve. Who will it be, and why? :holla:

Good stuff! But Fedor's whupped Noguira 2 times already. They'll fight for a 4th time and Fedor will whip him again.

    Important question!!

The PPV is scheduled for 6-9 pm Pacific time.... I have a hockey game at 9:50 and don't want to miss it, so I gotta leave like right at 9.. are these shows concise and get done by then ? Or is there a chance it could go on for a while later ?? I've never gotten a pride PPV before but I'm really iunterested in this one.

    Thanks

It started on time, and Cyborg crushed Nishijima to start off. Vanderlei Silva got BLASTED OUT by a seriously intense Crocop. Barnett got the nod over Nog, but it was a very close fight. Overeem lost to an unusually aggressive Ricardo Arona, and Alexandre Emelianenko stopped Kharitonov in a "careful-what-you-wish-for" fight. After eating one of Alex's shots, Kharitonov waved him in as if to say "do-it-again". Alex zapped him with a right and then a left that had Kharitonov dancing with the stars. Alex got a stoppage on the ground landing knees to Sergei's head from side mount.

All in all, an entertaining ppv, but I have to take issue with the October promo. They announced it as Fedor against "the only man willing to take him on"...Coleman. Plus, they labelled it Coleman vs Fedor.

Fedor already has a win over Coleman, so it should be titled Fedor vs. Coleman 2 as Fedor subbed him at Total Elimination 2004. AND Coleman is NOT the only one who would face Fedor. EVERYBODY wants a shot at the belt.

    great event

mirko looked like a beast, I think he ko fedor next time around, he didn't had any problem with both wand and barnett. And boy did he destroy silve, he looked like he got hit by a train. But Silva looked old, both physically and in the ring

Barnett vs nog was real close,

shogun looked decent, he was getting torn apart in the stand up, but snake wasn't able to defend a td to save his life.

Arona looked good vs a completely shot overeem, who should seriously take a lay off

Silva really got stomped. He bulked up considerably. Wasn't he 225 or so? Although the added weight doesn't really translate to 'heavyweight' strength.

Fight before? So did Chavez and Taylor. Don't mean didly. Cro Cop beat a monkey half to death...who was half his size (if that).

Lets see him fight another heavyweight and watch him run like a bitch again.

By the fucking way, lets not discount the FACT that Mirko could easily cut to 205 if he chose....In his K-1 days he weighed 210-220, and even at the latest tourney he came in just over 220...I wouldnt be surprised if guys like Lidell, Rampage, Coture, and Tito walk around as heavy if not heavier than Mirko

How is it 'fact' that Cro Cop could cut to 205? When's he done it? I think you meant "personal opinion backed by little factual evidence, dated some 5-6 years ago".

Morales could EASILY cut to 122 and thats a FACT, cos he used to fight in the 122 pound range.

Monkey got beat by a bigger man. Simple.
