    Shot Vargas - right now would beat Baldomirs Cousin Margarito ....

    A prime Vargas would slaughter this Margarito myth and the shot Vargas that just fought Mosely would beat him as well ....

    Actually Vargas should try to get him to move up to 154 for a fight ...
    That would be a nice comeback fight for him ...

    You know, it's been six years since he struggled with Wilfredo Rivera, marking the end of his prime. I wouldn't pick him against any top fighter right now.

    i'd go with Vargas in this one. Margarito wouldn't be able to hurt the Vargas that faced Quartey, and he'd be way too open for Vargas' killer combinations. During his brief prime, Vargas was as close to homicidal as a fighter gets in the ring, and I don't think Margarito with his leaky defense, and poor fundamentals survives such an onslaught.
