    it was pretty bad, but i did think the fight was closer than what Bob had us to believe....still i can't see how verno won 8 rounds!

    cory must be kicking himself though, he gave phillips a couple of rounds by trading with verno

    Anyone is more marketable than Spinks. His style STINX. Even though he is the Jimmy Young of today, and won that fight tonight......he sucks to watch.

    He doesn't. Why would he? King has sold out a venue in St. Louis with Spinks at least once. That's never happening with Verno unless he fights Oscar in a high school gym.

    sucks for Spinks! I don't know whey people hate on him so much. The only thing he lacks is power.

    The guy is a damn good boxer that has fought as high as 160 he has a better attitude than naturally bigger fighters out there.:dunno:

    Spinks is one of the best fighters of his generation but because of wrong backround (apparently) they do everything to prevent him from being champion. He got robbed against Taylor and again here. Apart from one lucky shot from Judah he has never been beaten.

    I had Taylor-Spinks a draw.

    He was losing the rematch to Judah when he was TKO'd.

    And he was very fortunate the Pineda bout was stopped the way it was.

    I also remember thinking Tono Diaz did beat him, but would have to rewatch that fight.

    Didnt see the fight, very surprised Spinks lost. I actually like the guy and he did beat Taylor he also took him to school in certain rounds.

    In pro boxing you don't accumulate a big lead just by "touching" the other guy, which is what you Stinks huggers seem to believe. :notallthere:
