Pulev won a Unanimous decision. Awful fight. Don't look for highlights. You won't find any. There are none. Nothing awful about the decision, Pulev was just a bit more persistent and Fury, who is a fine defensive boxer, looked way too green and underpowered to deal with Pulevs "tactics". About the only entertaining aspect of this was all "Outside the Ring", if Fury had won he'd have been mandatory for Anthony Joshua, a fight pencilled in for next April. Being Tyson Fury's cousin, that would have had plenty of intrigue but now it looks like Pulev vs Joshua in London next April. The other entertaining sideshow to this was David Haye and Dereck Chisorah sharing the same room in the studio "Analysis" section. Haye is now apparently training Chisorah. HE GRASSED ME!!! Meh.
I agree. He's got no variety. Looks a bit tough but that's it. He's a toughman. Caveman fighter. But if he lost tonight Fury would have fought Joshua and that would have been even worse.
