Who wins? I say Simon stops him late.

One thing's for sure, Brown would never allow Ike to get comfortable and he'd force him go to war.

I think Simon outworks and roughs Ike up for a decision.

Pretty good matchup. Ike seems like the bigger stronger guy. I think he'd win most the rounds with his jab before stopping Brown late.

If anybody gets stopped late it'd be Quartey, not Brown. Ike faded late in fights, whilst Brown got stronger as the fight goes on. Ike would have to box all night long in order to beat Brown, cause if he traded with Brown too long I see him getting stopped. Its pretty much a pick em, I favor Brown by late TKO though.

First off, Brown was finished by time he fought Pettaway. 2nd of all, that was a left hook that KO'd Brown in that fight. Ike slapped with his hook, and although his right hand was powerful, it wasnt devestating. Ike on the other hand was a sucker for left hooks, and Brown's hook WAS devestating. Maybe not Tito, or Cuevas type devestating, but still Simon's hook was a huge punch. And he was a helluva body puncher also.

I'm not disputing any of that, I liked Brown back in the day (though I'd still take Quartey to win).I don't think Brown could match Ike's strength. I saw Ike hit with huge left hooks vs Oscar, and Verno Phillips ....but he got up.
