I'm kinda getting tired of these stupid threads. Don't get me wrong whiskey you're a really funny guy and a great poster but threads like this bring this site down. This is a clear joke of a thread and a mismatch. Obviously Railway Working O'Leary takes this.

 

Agreed. I think its a bit tasteless to make such a mismatch where Hearns would be seriously injured. O'Leary was not your average 95 lber

 

I don't think it's just a mismatch. O'Leary fought the majority of his career with only one arm and the tuberculosis certainly had an effect on his stamina. I'd have to think Tommy's jab would give him some trouble.

 

I have to disagree. I read that O'Leary once slipped a train coming with a shoulder roll and then pushed it back with its jab. I can't see Hearns doing that

 

True, but i heard that story was exaggerated. It was only one locomotive, not an entire train.

while these threads are pretty funny, I think they misrepresent the site a lot

the only guy on here I ever see picking guys from 1910 to win fights against modern fighters is Ramonza

nobody else ever does

I also resent it in a way, because people like TLC have the idiotic belief that 1955 and 1910 are the same thing and that the fighters are at all of similar quality

this kid is on here criticizing an agin Robinson for losing to Gene Fullmer, as if Fullmer was a shitty fighter (utter nonsense) and as if Fullmer is the same as Mysterious Billy Smith or the Dixie Kid

 

So who do you pick and why?
