Damn, that's a good fight. It's too bad the UFC won't add Ricardo Arona. He's worldclass on the ground, and if they are going to have Demian Maia and Thales Leites on the roster, Arona seems a natural. People criticize Arona for not ending bouts inside the distance, but he at least deserves a chance in the UFC.
Both guys will be standing up so it should be somewhat exciting. If rampage does lose, i see him taking a very long break from MMA.
Unless machida is mentally affected by getting ko'd, he should easily beat rampage. Jackson relies too much on getting it done with one shot and he just won't get the opportunity to land it. Shogun forced it by being aggressive and punching with machida. Rampage will plod around looking for one counter shot and machida will dart in and out all fight long.
If Evans made Rampage look slow and unsure, Machida will make him look like he's 90 years old stomping around in a pool of tar.
Rampage really looked like he didn't even train for the Rashad fight. He better come with more than that for Machida.
