Manny, Floyd, Nonito. Let's not play around, there's a gap between 2 and 3, but it's closing FAST

PBF has done nothing recently to prove he's the best. For this reason he goes to the 3rd spot IMO. BTW is PBF retired?

No. Donaire has a skillset on Floyd's level (by this point) with Manny's aggression and different level of power to either of them. Montiel>anyone Floyd or Manny have beaten at welterweight; Donaire a better bantam than either is a welterweight.

If Manny had stayed at 140lb it would probably be a different discussion. Floyd is clearly number 3 until he beats somebody relevant at the weight, which he probably never will.

Best has nothing to do with "what have you done for me lately". Best is the best.

    Mosley was relevant.

The dude ran virtually even with Cotto and destroyed Margarito who destroyed Cotto. Everyone was picking Mosley to beat the young and undefeated Berto before that fight fell through and Mosley was considered THE Welterweight champion at that point.

Best doesn't get nearly KO'd by a 39 year old with 16 months ring rust then effectively retire himself for a year+ AGAIN to rust himself up some more. Floyd ain't the fighter he was anymore.

You have to prove it. You cant just lay around in bed and expect to be ranked #1. Thats just my honest opinion. Floyd is a great talent but has done nothing in recent times to prove it.

Mosley was 39 and hadn't fought for 16 months. He was relevant in the sense that he still nominally held a belt, but as a fighter, in the ring? I don't think we'll ever see him notch up another ranked win at welterweight.

"nearly KO'd" is a SS-TT-RR-EE-TT-CC-HH if ever I've seen one.

Assuming my memory serves me correctly...Floyd had Mosley retreating and on the defensive less than 30 seconds after being stunned.

    ANYONE can get stunned, ANYONE.

I think we'll see a declined Floyd when he comes back. All this inactivity adds up. I mean, I know he's a dedicated trainer, it's not like he's out there sitting on his ass or partying, but he's too old to recover from this rust by this stage.

I think Floyd is probably the best fighter of the three at his best, but I suspect that guy is gone.

    Donaire for me.

    Manny, Nonito, Floyd.

I rank on a "What have you done lately" basis. Floyd is inactive and will continue to be. Has he even confirmed if he will ever fight again ? Meanwhile the other two fight on. Donaire has the best options for great fight to make, so he could very well be making a run for #1 if Manny insists on facing old men.

By the time Mayweather fights again he will need ANOTHER comeback fight....once again vs. a TOP P4P much smaller fighter...maybe that's the reason Juanma is moving so rapidly up in weight...by the time Mayweather fights again he might be at 135-140....ready and prime for "MONEY" May...

Wait, is this who you think is the best, or how you'd rate them p4p?

I ask because yes, my order would change.

REED Voted "Manny, Floyd, Nonito", but would Still FAVOR Floyd Over Manny, SLIGHTLY...Nonito's CLEARLY the Best of the Rest, but Still a DISTANT 3rd from Manny & Floyd...
