It's hard to compare them because Castillo hit the ring weighing 150-something pounds because of day-before weigh-ins, and Mancini hit the ring weighing 130-something pounds. Mancini was a better fighter, but in a head-to-head matchup, I have to go with Castillo simply because he was so much bigger.
I never said anything as stupid as that, and you're a tool to suggest I did. Size isn't an end-all, but Castillo has a history of using his size advantage to give better fighters - like Stevie Johnston, Floyd Mayweather and Joel Casamayor - a lot of trouble.
according to most of you guys, Castillo is a man without a weight class. he's too big for 135 and 140 according to some of you, and belongs at 147. but clearly, he's too small for 147. so how do we reconcile this? also, he faced plenty of guys at 135 who weighed just as much as he did on fight night, and in some cases even more. guys like Reyes, Lazcano, Diaz and Corrales were every bit as big as he was on fight night.
yeah...maybe but Castillo probably cheated all that time..by not killing himself making the weight...and just having his trainer/corner people play with the scales...while Corrales,Diaz, etc killed themselves to actually make weight....
No, Castillo is a man without talent. He can't beat fighters his own size, so he has to dehydrate down to 135/140 to beat smaller fighters, and even when he gets down there, he needs his doctor to put his foot under the scale so he can make weight.
You guys are trying to piss me the fuck off. Never use Mancini's name while discussing the skilless bum. Mancini Duk Ku Kim's him. Castillo would wish he never left the donkey circuit.
