Robinson was ahead against Maxim, will he be ahead against Qawi?

Qawi at 175 was a beast

Robinson at 175 was too high to be as good as before

    Qawi wins this.

I doubt Robinson would have even tried if Qawi was the 175 champ. Maxim was garbage.

agree... Eventually Qawi's muscle will tell the tale... Maxim was a pure boxer, jab and move, and a light hitter on top of it... With his far less aggressive style, he was bound to have problems with Robinson's great quickness... Qawi has a far more ideal style for the match, and he definitely wins, clear as day to me

I don't think Maxim was garbage... He had good, textbook skills, a nice jab, good legs, could take a punch when he had to... he was just fighting in a great era and could nothing with Ezzard Charles or Archie Moore

Maxim was a guy who could outbox good fighters, but was just in over his head against the best of the best... If he couldn't stick that jab in your face and dance away all night, he was in trouble, because he didn't have the firepower or inside skills to deal with really skillful, tough pressure and by the same measure, coming forward and pressing was anathema to him
