Glover got tagged, but that was a real nice combo to drop Bader. Fun fights tonight.

    Who does Jacare get next?

    Hallmann :bears:

Glover kinda got exposed. If you're TOP tier you shouldn't have ANY trouble with Tito Ortiz's son.

I think the logical choice should be the winner of Munoz vs. Bisping. And the winner of that getting the anderson/weidman winner.

How do you scratch Belfort from the MW title picture like that. I'm not a Belfort fan and I know he has the Hendo fight already scheduled, but the possibility of Bisping getting a title shot ahead of a guy that knocked him senseless 8 months ago seems unfair.

Peronally I say match him with the winner of Kennedy-Machida. Kennedy would be a rematch of a fight that Jacare won a close decision. I thought Kennedy won.

I think it validated him a lot more than exposing him. Yeah he got caught but everyone gets caught....even Anderson and GSP were caught by vastly inferior striker.

I was more impressed with his wrestling. A lot of people were saying his wrestling only looked so good because Rampage was shot but he outwestled Bader who's really good in the LHW division.

I think given his brawling style, he NEEDS an iron chin. As good as his wrestling is, it won't matter, because it will be nowhere close to what's needed to outwrestle Jones. So basically with this fight his wrestling went up 5 points, but his chin also went down 5 points, and I think he needs chin MUCH MORE if he is to beat Jones.

i just dont see belfort beating hendo and i dont think hendo beating belfort should elevate him ahead of the munoz/bisping winner.

Vitor is stupid for fighting Hendo in the first place. Hendo is coming off losses, beating him doesn't do anything for Vitor. Vitor already is the #1 contender. (outside of Anderson) the reason for no shot was of course the fact that Anderson destroyed him. If Vitor had any brains (doubtful after all those chemicals he goes through) he would get "injured" right before the Hendo fight and wait for Weidman in the spring. This way Jacare can go ahead and fight Hendo. But hey all the power to him if he wants to risk his guaranteed title shot.

If Vitor beats Hendo (not likely) and Sonnen beats Evans. I see Sonnen vs. Vitor fight.

Belfort doesn't need to be elevated. Belfort is already ranked ahead of Munoz and Bisping at 185. Losing a fight to Hendo at 205 shouldn't affect that ranking at all.

Like it or not (and I don't), Belfort is next in line for a shot at the MW title. He destroyed Bisping and Rockhold in back-to-back fights. He's pulled himself ahead of the rest of the class..

I think Jacare-Belfort would be the most intense 2 or 3 minutes in recent UFC history. I'd love to see that fight made. It's hard to believe, but Jacare as slowly become on of the most dangerous punchers in the division. Combine that with his top shelf BJJ, and you've got a tough fight for anyone.

Middleweight was a wasteland just a couple of year back with title defenses againt Cote, Leites and Maia. Now it's a crowded house.

I personally think Hendo needs to just stay at 205. At his age, the weight cut doesn't help.

Not really. Jones isn't much of a puncher. If he loses he'll likely lose from ground and pound, but he's a big, powerful and skilled grappler he should be able to control posture better than Belfort.

I think Henderson is lucky if he goes the distance in that match.

Nah it's not hard to believe. He really is a world class athlete. A guy like Demian Maia or some of the other jitz guys becoming solid allrounders would be surprising but Jacare is the kind of world class athlete that usually comes from wrestling into MMA...he's so dangerous in every way....the only real hindrance to him is he has a terrible chin. He beat Rockhold anyway and got robbed...

Why? He just lost two fights in a row. So you tell me he moves up past the two guys who beat him?

WHat? Bisping and Munoz have never beaten Henderson, Henderson brutally destroyed Bisping and if he does the same to #1 contender Belfort (who also destroyed Bisping) why shouldn't he move up ahead of those two fringe contenders? (unless the Hendo/Belfort fight is at 205 lbs)

If you are referring to Machida and Evans as the two guys who beat him I'm not sure what your point is.

Hendo has been badly hurt in quite a few fights recently...if anything the reason he hasn't been knocked out is because of fighting guys like Evans instead of Vitor.

Lyoto probably could've stopped him too but Dan decided to stay outside and get kicked then cry about the decision.
