It sounds like Arthur battered Gogoladze late in the fight. Now he's the interm WBO champ and mandatory for Guzman.
Yeah, I wasn't impressed when I first saw Arthur on Shobox...can't say I've seen him since, though. Should be a winnable defense for either Guzman or Soto. Kid Diamond already exposed Gogoladze to a large extent.
Enzo Macarrinelli won a UD over Wayne Braithwaite with the scores of 118-109, 120-107, 119-108 and Gavin Rees beat Souleymane Mbaye with a UD, 117-112, 117-113, 118-110.
His stamina is kinda crap. He started off very good in the first 5 then faded from there. Not the first time he faded though.
He was never in this fight either. And, for all his clowning, he would never have won. Enzo was all over him, and landed some of the sickest left hooks to the body I have ever seen. For a tall dude he sure can hit to the ribs with that left. WB was saved by the bell on several occassions. I think Enzo is slow and has some issues with stamina, but he is a force at Cruiser, no mistake. Rees was a revelation at 140.
back when the big 4 were jirov, gomez, nelson, and braithwaite it's not like there was a consensus #1. Jirov and Gomez had the amateur pedigree, Braithwaite dominated on the way up, and Nelson had the quirkiest style and most experience. Braithwaite's fall from grace didn't seem to mE to be a lack of talent or any other 'overrated' factor, but more of a mental thing (as suggested elsewhere in this thread) or perhaps that he was too small since he didn't get to 200 lbs when the weight limit changed.
