My divorce (2011 / 2012) was the worst time of my life, but I never thought about suicide. I knew I'd still have a good life after I got through it. It was a hard time that I knew was temporary. People have been through much worse without thinking suicide is an option. It's only an option if you're already on the way out. If the doctor says you have a month to live, maybe it's an option.

That's how it was for me too. The first few months were rough, then I signed up for okcupid and match. I had my first 7 first dates in 7 days. I got laid on maybe day 5 or 6, the first new girl for me in years. That changed everything.
