Does Mayorga chase him out of the ring? I cant see how PBF could ever get his respect in this fight. Will pot shotting work against this crazy asshole? This is a fight where PBF will be in big trouble in my opinion. Unless he goes on his bike for 12 rounds he's toast.
This bum couldn't even beat Cory Spinks...and he's going to chase Mayweather out of the ring? :: Grow up.
he lost to Spinks but he landed plenty. and it was a very close decision that could've gone either way. still, i think PBF's defense would be good enough to avoid Mayorga's best shots, and when he needed to, he could use his legs. but it would be a highly stressful fight for PBF because he wouldn't be able to discourage or hurt Mayorga, and would have to be on the defensive for 12 rounds.
Good post! I agree PFB would win( if he goes on his bike) but like you said it will be extremely stressful having Mayorga in his face all 12 rounds.
I think Mayorga is made for Floyd. I think the guy who beats Floyd will be a southpaw or a runner(Makes Floyd get out of his game plan and be the aggressor) or both.
Floyd UD Mayorga tires and gets a bit beaten up at the end as well Mayorga should have got the win against Spinks, you teenyboppers :nono: ________ BOX VAPORIZER
Mayorga never won that fight but it would have been one of the most pleasant robberies i can think of.
This is bad fight for PBF. Even though their respective skill levels are far apart , that doesn't mean too much if the other guys gets hit and laughs at you , forces you into a corner and whales away with hard punches. As for the Spinks fight , I thought Mayorga won that fight. As it stands right now , if Mayorga didn't get deducted 2 un-neccessary points in that fight , it would have been a draw. One of the points was for holding and hitting. I watched that fight. Spinks literally at one point was turning his back to Mayo and outright running away. Spinks deserves no credit for that fight. Anyone who says Spinks schooled Mayo is ridiculous. I say a prime very aggressive Mayorga has more then a chance to just batter PBF. There is no way PBF holds of Mayorga at Welter weight. PBF couldn't even be impressive Vs Baldomir. Mayo is way faster with his hands and 20 times faster with his feet. Not to mention he attacked constantly.
Yes , the more action part coming from Mayorga. Mayo is 10 times faster then Baldomir and he attacked way more. Yeah PBF can counter. However if the counters do absolutely nothing , whats the point. Doesn't really matter if PBF lands punches with his better skill. PBF has no power to discourage Mayo in any way shape or form.
:bears: Excellent post! I always thought this is a bad fight for PBF but as you can see everyone here gives a prime Mayo no shot. You came up with some valid points.
Has the Floyd hate become so strong than even fuckin Mayorga supposedly beats him? C'mon, stop this madness! Floyd would have embarassed that wild swinging maricon.
mayorga would be tired after missing badly for several rounds. and we've seen him fade badly in the second half of fights
Floyd by a boring points victory, he'd stay out of the way of Mayorga's windmill haymakers and refuse to engage with him at all, but win by a wide margin anyway.
The term 'nuetralised' comes to mind when thinking about this one. FWIW, I think Margarito would have given Floyd all he could handle in 2006-07. I'd favour Floyd but it'd be his career hardest fight.
I bet you Floyd would not even fight Mayorga. Over the hill current Mayorga maybe......maybe after asking him to come down to 147 but not a prime Mayorga. Floyd is a coward realize it by now people.
Mayorga is dangerous for lets say all of two rounds against Floyd. After that he's picked apart...mostly due to Mayorga's getting so gassed and frustrated. Floyd beats the dogshit out of mayorga. In fact, I'd say this would be one of his more impressive victories because Mayorga would keep coming at him forcing Floyd to let his hands go more than he'd like to.
Mayweather by easy decision... perhaps Mayorga's posturing and body language will impress a few dumb shits into thinking he's won a round or three, but at the end of the day, Mayweather easily outboxes him
