Two trash talkers with completely different abilities, styles and approaches.

How does it play out in the ring?

Barring a late round KO by Malignaggi, Mayorga would dance circles around him en route to a decision

This is a complete mismatch if we're talking a prime Mayorga (02-03).

He would maul Paulie, and stop him inside of 6.

Aye, Paulie has absolutely nothing to keep Mayorga off him, and his skillset really isn't all that, just fast and tough. He takes a beating before getting stopped.

Mayorga's raw aggression would've been effective against Paulie's incessant jab

Mayorga way too strong and Malignaggi was a scrub boxer... the kind of guy that can shoeshine against third rate sluggers but is completely hittable against anybody halfway decent ... Mayorga was an overrated punching bag but even Spinks, a much better and much quicker boxer than Malignaggi only JUST beat him ... he’d hit Paulie more than enough to win comfortably

"Scrub" is harsh. Paulie was a good fighter at 140... just couldn't cut it against the top.

His problem was he was a good fighter who had a few things, but some serious limitations.

At 147 though, he was extremely beatable, cause he's a little guy not suited for welterweight.

Malignaggi was nothing but a lose-every-round, punchless runner against anybody decent

    He has zero notable victories

He schooled Ndou in a fight in which I believe he was an underdog, and he twice beat Baby Cow Diaz (first fight was a blatant robbery).

Moreover, he arguably handed Broner his first loss - and that was a faded Paulie against a peak Broner.

Paulie wasn't losing to chumps - the only guys who beat him in his prime were Cotto, Hatton, and Khan - in Khan's apex performance. Those losses are nothing to be ashamed of.

Malignaggi was NEVER an elite, but he was no "scrub" either.

    N’Dou, Diaz ... come on

There’s no way you can score that Broner fight for Malignaggi, first off and secondly, Broner never did shit anyway... he wasn’t a good fighter

Paulie clowns him early and Mayorga KO's him late.

By early I mean the first 10 seconds and by Late I mean the 2nd round.
