Although I've never seen Cuevas fight he should likely wipe the floor with Mayorga just off of his rep alone. Mayorga was nothing more than a skillless brawler.

Ive seen Cuevas fights. He hit like a sonuvabitch! His left hook was arguably the most powerful weapon in welterweight history, rivaled only by Hearns' right cross. I think he fucks up Mayorga within 6 in a great brawl while it lasts.

Even Cuevas had more skill than Mayorga but I think Mayorga's superior chin wins this fight for him. Mayorga has been beaten up by guys who punched much faster than him and could thorw there punches in much more compact way, both of which Cuevas could not do

The same could be said about Cuevas. He was overwhelmed by Hearns' speed, and power, but in his prime, guys who traded with him ended up on thier backs, and with broken bones.

Wow, Cuevas most really suck. Let me guess, were basing Mayorga off of his 1 awesome win over Forrest rather than his mediocre career as a whole right?

Cuevas would have creamed Mayorga in a relatively uncompetitive, brutally ugly fight.
