I may meet this fellow Thursday night as he is making his pro boxing debut in Houston.
What do you guys know about him?
Can he box well?
If he looks good, I may do an interview with him.

pro boxing debut???? I'd never have guessed. I never saw him throw a punch even once in any of his mma fights. Wait and see. He might get blown out like K1's Mighty Mo did in his boxing debut.

He's a stain of a person. Admitted to my old collegues that he's simply been fighting easy fights over the last few years for quick money, not caring one bit about ripping the public off. He doesn't train much either.

As for his boxing? I expect him to carry the same philosiphy he's had in MMA over; fight the easiest possible fights for money. He's not interested in glory in either sport; just a buck.

Yep. He has a jab and a right hand. Arlovski is a decent boxer himself for an mma fighter.

 

Hes a fighter who cares only about money. Cool guy, decent friend of mine from when i was training.

 

I guess you didn't watch him KO Ron Waterman at the last WFA. Ricco is superfat now, but with boxing training, he might get back down to a respectable weight and become a force again.

 

:jester: If it wasn't on tv, I know nothing about it. I doubt he'll become a force in boxing. He'll probably eat dirt like Ray Sefo did.

Farce

It hasn't helped yet, Buddy.
Ricco looked terrible physically, and outweighed the kid he was fighting by my estimate at around 75 pounds or so.
The other kid was so frightened he barely through a punch, just covered up and looked for a soft spot on the floor, and laid down the first real punch he took so there was no way to rate Ricco.
I could have beaten the guy Ricco was fighting easily, and many of the spectators could as well I am sure.

Don't make the incorrect assumption that many of the spectators at that fight were such skillful boxers as you are, Karl.

 

No doubt. That piece of shit was headlining some half-assed MMA card here last year. He was the only person that I had heard of that was supposed to be fighting.

Midway through the show that fat fuck gets in the ring on crutches and says that he won't be fighting, because he was "hurt". IT was bullshit.

Everyone started booing him like crazy and some people were throwing stuff at him.
