I guess P4P, although Mancini was a big ass lightweight and probably coulda been comfortable at 140. Still, who wins?
two guys going to WAR...neither one would be ko..maybe not even score knockdowns...they will torture each others body for 12/15 rounds.... Hatton by Decision....:dunno:
Interesting...given Hatton's pedigree; I can see why most pick him. But I see a very unclear outcome and big chances for Boom Boom - I can see him hurting Hatton and he was certainly strong/physical enough to hold his own in the mauling sessions. Mancini was a harder puncher than Hatton, especially to the head. Interesting fight. Like Karl said, it feels even to me.
That's a good point...I kinda let the line blur between the two. The thread is PxP....and that's what I meant, definitely. Even fight. At 140, if we're talking Mancini when he finally went to 140 at the end of his career....then it's obvious Hatton wins; Ray wasn't the same by then. Though I still think Mancini gives him a good go-round; Hatton's preferred style of fighting plays right into what Ray does best. Peace.
Hatton would try to fight Mancini the same way he did Urango and Tackie. And obviously, with less success (i.e. unless he's allowed to hold like a bitch for 2 minutes of every round he loses a decision). If the rules are followed, and neither guy is allowed to hold or grapple, I don't see how Mancini loses.
