I'd still take Bowe but he'd have a LOT more trouble... say what we will about Dokes, he DID have tremendous talent and skills, he was a good combination puncher, he could use his legs, knew what he was doing in there... in the end, I think Riddick is just tougher, more durable than him and in the later rounds, he'll have more left Bowe by either decision or late stoppage
I dont know about that, its true SOMETIMES, but other times not so much... I mean look at the Holyfield fight, Dokes got caught with some beautiful clean counter shots, the same types of shots that hurt much more durable men like Mercer and Bowe and Foreman, but he kept firing back... that was an epic fight... and Mike Weaver could certainly bang and though in my opinion he was robbed of a deserving victory in their second fight, the fact remains that he couldn't get Dokes out of there... to me, Dokes is an up and down case... some fights he looked like a world beater, other fights he looked like a pretender (Coetzee, for example) like I said, I definitely give Bowe a shot at the KO for sure, but assuming we get the best Michael Dokes, it won't come easy
