    I was shocked to hear the commentators for the flyweight title of the black-and-white era announce that the fight was boring.

    When they announced that the referee had to remind the fighters why they were there, I almost plotzed.

    Shocking.

    At flyweight I would too.

    That combo he finished Patterson with was class, not to mention the straight right to the body of the advancing Patterson which preceded it.

    Patterson wasn't just idly plodding forward either, he was trying to flit his way into range and Monaghan snuffed that out in a hurry with one straight right.
