Dont compare this shitbag to the great Ali, and dont compare this fight to Ali-Holmes. Ali-Holmes was tough, and sad to watch for everyone. This on the other hand... was beautiful, and wonderful to watch!:atu:

Tony Weeks was very close to stopping this within the last minute.

    Beautiful two rounds...love it.

In the 7th, there were two right hooks to the body which started the sequence. Oscar was on the ropes more in this fight than in his past 20 fights.

    Don't missunderstand me.
Ali is my all-time favourite fighter & will always be "the greatest"

I don't share the hate 4 DLH although I agree he doesn't compare to Ali.

    The beating itself
-To see DLH up against the ropes like that taking unanswered shots & essentailly defenseless & helpless is unprecedented in his career. In that sense it was reminiscent.

I want to see the minutes after round 8 where they repeatedly ask DLH if he wants to quit.

Same thoughts here. I was rooting for Pac, but it just didn't seem "right" after a while. De La Hoya looked as if he had 50 lb ankle weights on. Everyone knew Manny was faster and might beat him to the punch on occasion, but not without having to pay for it.

I'm happy Pacquiao won, but it looked like he just took out a punching bag.
