It's time in 4 hours. I have surprisingly un-strong feelings about this fight. I just think it will be great. Now that the Cotto hype machine has been brought back to Earth, I can enjoy his fights more.

I couldn't stand Cotto until he lost. I still believe I was right about him all along. He was very, very carefully moved. I thought Margarito was a test and he failed. Still, there is no questioning his toughness anymore, especially after the Clottey fight which he could have quit and gotten an NC or quit in the 5th and one a TD. He didn't. I also like the fact he has gone out of his way to learn English. 4 years ago, he couldn't say a simple sentence in English and now he is fluent. The only thing that would surprise me tonight is if it is boring.

Got dammit just when i thought it was safe...i got the typical..."are you going to watch the fight tonight" call.... a nite full of "you think he was hurt".."who you think won that round"**after one of the fighter has been done 2-3 times in that round......:shit::doh:

Sonsona fight was just on and we miss the whole 2nd round and the TKO so they can show Mario Lopez trying to pick up the interview girl, and the crackhead from "The Wire" picks up Mario Lopez instead. :bangh::bangh:

    Jesus Soto-Karrass 24-3-3 (16 KO's)
    vs
    Alfonso Gomez 20-4-2 (10 Ko's)

    Round 1

They meet in the middle of the ring...Soto comes out jabbing, jabs by both. Soto-Karass has the Tony The Tiger trunks, with a mohawk...Right hand counter by Gomez, jabs by Soto. Right/left to the body by Gomez. Gomez feint with the right, lands the hard jab.

I thought this was gonna be a slugfest..come on..they trade left hands. Left to the body by Gomez, Karass is a slow mofo. Right to the head, left to the body by Gomez. Jab,jab by Karass.

    Round 1: Gomez
