Comparing primes and primes only, I would say Roy Jones is THE best fighter I have ever seen, p4p.

Even so, he is annoying, his rapping sucks and his next fight is a farce

 

I agree! RJ in his prime is the best fighter I have ever seen as well. But Tito will end his career with another knockout:bears:

 

i expect jones to win easily, but i wouldnt mind seeing tito land something huge to make it at least a bit interesting.

 

Seriously, can anyone, even the most die-hard Jones fan, watch that video without laughing?

Everyday that passes makes me more hyped for this fight. Roy has fallen off enough that its possible this fight could be competitive.

 

Roy may be well past it but he's still too big, too strong, and too fast for Tito.

 

My biggest concern is the size difference as you pointed out. Tito's frame is small even for 160. RJ will be much bigger come fightnight.

 

I don't believe that necessarily.

Roy and Tito are roughly the same height. The difference is body composition. Roy's got a MUCH bigger upper body and Tito has narrow shoulders etc.

"However"

Roy has chicken legs and I wouldn't be surprised if Tito's calves and thighs measured larger than Roy's.

Jake saw both at the Diaz fight and basically said Roy looked like he could have fought that night whereas Tito looked like an regular guy, but would need to train to make weight. (correct me if I've got it wrong Mr. Jake).

 

From the interview they did with Tito he looked like he was in shape.

The pic in my avatar was taken ten days ago. Tito is most certainly NOT in shape. ::

That said, the size difference will only come down to Roy campaigning heavier for a longer period of time. Seeing both together (or at least five feet apart), Tito's actually slightly taller - and for the moment, heavier.

As far as this thread and that video - it's better than "Yep" and also better than anything produced from Oscar's brief dabble in the music world.
