Izon had a couple of good performances, such as beating Savarese and hanging in there with Tua, but he also was quickly beaten by Michael Grant, which makes me believe Peter takes this
I agree that prime Grant was better and that Peter sucks at world championship level but he is able to beat some top-10 or top-15 contenders, which is what Izon at his best was. IMO the fact that Izon would not be able to hold Peter off and that Peter has more reach than Tua would enable him to win a decision
Peter's more dangerous than Grant was though..and besides..I don't agree with you...Peter had more boxing skill than Grant who was basically a hapless giant.
Oh cmon now. Peter has less boxing skill than a heavy bag. Grant was just very fragile mentally and physically. He wasn't as bad as some people make him out to be. He was a decent contender.
I've never been a Sam Peter fan, but there's no way the best available version of him loses this fight or even needs more than a few rounds to get the job done.
Grant was CRAP! To say he threw punches like an amateur..is an insult to amateurs. He was a big sloppy buffoon...with no balance and no skill. It was his size alone (and careful matchmaking) that made him even slightly competitive. Peter would have fucked up Grant.
