Would love to see Angulo win but I think this is a fight that Canelo should look good in.

I dont see Alvarez dominating this guy at all. he'll get his red whiskers tested and wont be shocking if he loses

That's because the fight hasn't happened yet. Wait until March and you sure will see it.

If it was the Angulo of a few years ago, I'd give him a chance. But I think he's diminished at this point.

Angulo is crap, but I understand it's a confidence booster for Canelo.

Angulo? Really? After all this talk of facing an elite opponent like Cotto or someone like Lara this is a major step down. Easy payday for Ginger.

    This....

I see Canelo going in trying to be macho and aggressive get hurt badly in round 4-5 then try to box more but the damage has been dione and it wouldn be too late....

    Angulo by KO 7

i dont think angulo's shot or washed up. he's limited and can beat outboxed easily, but he still packs a hard punch and comes to fight. having said that, canelo's not great either and is obviously beatable. it might turn out to be a very good fight.

Not quite that simple TLC. He had a severely busted up eye, that they thought might be fractured at the time. Not like he just got knocked down and decided he didn't deserve any more, like Fruity or Victor.

Anyway, as lowish an opinion as I have of Canelo, I'd still be pretty fucking surprised if he lost to Angulo. He's the more solid, skilled fighter and should be able to counter Alfred comfortably enough.

It would be quite hilarious if Angulo stretched the Ging.

I specifically mentioned 'elite like Cotto' then added 'or someone like Lara' to separate the sheep from the goat.

If Angulo isn't diminshed by the Lara fight, he will give Canelo a hell of a fight.

That magazine was in joke territory long before Oscar's company purchased it and purged the staff of all non-believers... Now? It is an insulting publication, full of blatant propaganda and lies... I leafed through one at the supermarket one day and I was blown away by how insane it had become

Not saying he dominated him but in boxing making someone quit is as decisive of a victory is there is...even moreso than a knockout because fluke KOs do happen. It's not like he eked out a split decision or something. He made the guy quit due to damage sustained from punches.

It's a bummer... There was a time when it was a good rag... There's always been idiot writers and nonsensical opinions, but there were also good articles, good coverage, etc
