    Hope was solid and all, but he was a title holder in a wasteland of a division (at that time)

    Benitez showed where Hope's value really stood against an elite guy, he beat the hell out of him

    Not saying Alvarez has necessarily shown himself to be any better than Maurice Hope, but this isn't like Alvarez vs. McCallum or some shit like that...
