Wilfredo Gomez v Lupe Pintor Round 12 @Jesus of montreal and @Ring Leader got me thinking about this after mentioning that Holmes-Norton round 15 should have gone to Norton. Who do you think this round should have gone to?
LMAO at the Rocky music. Anyway, I'd say that was a clear Gomez round. He had Pintor hurt BADLY over the first half of the round, slightly edged the second half action, and was only hurt in the closing seconds of the round.
It's an interesting one. When I scored this fight, I had Gomez winning the round but three or four others on ESB had Pintor winning it. In Eye on the Ring there are 9 scorecards and 5 of them have it for Gomez and 4 have it for Pintor. I haven't found the official scores for this round so don't know how the judges actually scored it... Re the Rocky music, I didn't even know it was on there as I rewatched it with the sound down!
