    Who can beat him?

    Mayweather?
    Margarito II?
    Williams III?
    Cotto?
    Pacquiao?
    Angulo?
    Pavlik II?
    Kirkland?

    Who can beat him?

None of the above. Pirog might have an outside chance. Martinez vs the winner of the super 6 at 165 might be the most interesting prospect.

    None of the above.

Cotto, Angulo, Marg, and Pavlik dont have a shot in hell!

Pirog might in fact be his best challenge... but who knows. Martinez is 8 light years better than Danny Jokeobs, so Martinez would have to be heavily favored over Pirog.

I know I'm on his bandwagon, but perhaps David Lemeuix if he continues to develop will have a puncher's chance within a year. But certainly at this moment he's far from ready.

Pacquiao would ask for a catchweight of 152 0r 151.

Yeah, I wouldn't be interested in that case. 160, for the middleweight championship. Pacquiao wins, and he's probably the greatest fighter ever.

Pacquiao at middleweight is a ridiculous notion, IMHO.

Pacquiao would be the world's smallest Middleweight almost ever.

It'd be the equivalent of a modern day Sam Langford.

Martinez can do 154 though. And maybe 150.

Nobody beats him though until he becomes past it.

How would you guys feel about Cotto-Martinez?

That's probably the next fight I'd want to see.

The best Martinez can do is 154....after the Williams fight he said he would make go to a catchweight of 156 to fight either Cotto, Pac or Mayweather...but I'm sure he would not have any problem going to 154....

    but 150 are you nuts?

Not even close. Martinez would make him look foolish.

Why not? Obviously he's gotten bigger but he's not gotten massive.

Martinez has gotten bigger/buffer in the last few years....and he hasn't fought below 154-153 in YEARS...NOW you want him to go down to 150 lbs? :nono:

    To fight Pacquiao only.

    Pacquaio can't fight Junior Middles.

WW is big enough of a stretch.

    Totally.

Are you guys saying that you wouldn't be crazy hyped for Pacquiao trying what looks like an impossible task?

If it's up to Cotto he will probably fight Martinez...he has never been afraid of competition...but if he was looking out for his best interest he would like somewhere else.

I'm not crazy for Pac vs. Martinez...because if he loss...it will somehow count as a victory for Mayweather jr....

Cotto/Angulo would actually be a lot of fun. I think I'd take Angulo.

So Martinez should deliberately sabotage himself for a fight vs. Pacquiao?

Manny at 160 would basically be like a prime Duran at light heavy. Absurd really.
