Does anyone else have admiration and respect for Derevyenchenko? The guy always comes out to fight and make the most of his abilities against anyone, much like Shawn Porter.

As courageous as he is he always come up short against the more talented fighters. It sucks how he was pretty much thrown into the wolves so quickly and has been in back-to-back wars while taking lots of punishment. I admire the fact that he's tough, gives everyone hell, and has never been stopped but I'm afraid for his health and I would not want to see him relegated to a gatekeeper. At age 37 I don't think there's any possible way he can keep this up any longer.

I'm not in disagreement with this post but here is the crazy part. Supposedly many people claim Canelo cherry picked at 160 for fighting GGG x2 and Jacob's. Guys he actually beat. But Deverechenko gets called a warrior for losing to these guys. In my opinion yes Deverechenko is a warriors who deserves all the credit in the world for facing the creme of the crop at 160. Has the best resume at 160 nobody can say he ducked anyone.
