Next upcoming fights from Top Rank which actually airs on Thursday November 16. I think this is an interesting double header and should be an entertaining bout.

They put it Thursday because that's the week of the F1 race in vegas and arum hopes the crowd of whales wants to see fisticuffs

I'm going IN on Shakur by stoppage here. The books got the odds on stoppage vs distance flipped the wrong way around. This santos guy appeared to have quit in him when he lost to scrubby foster and then he almost got KO'd by Valenzuela who never heard of head movement. Adorno is garbage. He's going up against an elite guy here. Shakur is just much more crisp with his shots. Guy is going to get executed

De Los Santos is solid. If Shakur outclasses him and gets a stoppage, he deserves a lot of credit.

Another garbage fight for Stevenson. And he doesn't have the kind of ''wow factor'' that makes it interesting to watch him dominate overmatched opponents. Might watch since it's on a Thursday but the interest is really low.

Are you suggesting TR doesn't build up phony "opponents" for its "superstars?"

Every Promotion Does That, It's Certainly NOT Exclusive to Top Rank...But w/That Said, This ISN'T the Case w/Shakur...

Stevenson calls out everyone publicly. Shows up at their fights, gets in the ring to challenge them face to face

What more you want him to do, you can't make someone fight you if they're unwilling

I agree we know he's talented and we know he's going to outbox some bum but he doesn't have the power of a Davis to get bums out of there in a devastating fashion. Unless you're a Shakur fan I don't see how this guy is going to be the future face of boxing. I don't buy it. I doubt anybody besides hardcore east coast boxing fans even know or give a shit about this fight.

You got to be able to read between the lines. There's a difference between calling someone out and capping. Before Twitter, YouTube and social media you had to earn a title shot or a fight vs a marquee name. Now days young fighters have a sense of entitlement. As if champions and guys who paid their dues need to stop what they're doing and focus on them just cause some cocky up-and-comer called them out. The old saying that the squeaky wheel gets the oil is the perfect example what today's fighters are like. Taking shortcuts to get to the top.

I wish every great could win their first title in such an honorable, non-short cutting fashion, by beating a legend like Matthew Hatton.

Though there is truth in fighters pricing themselves out of important fights.

Shakur should’ve taken the short money from Haney…beat his ass and moved on. Then again I don’t know what was offered $$$ if it was anything between 3-5 mil I would take the fight….regardless of how much more Haney was getting paid. How a Haney fight can generate money to pay him millions is beyond me…

stevenson was offered 25% of the purse. so if that was 3 million that would mean haney was getting 9 million. who in the FUCK would put up a guaranteed 12 million for that fight?

You're obsessed with Canelo even when I don't bring him up you do. Can't say nothing negative about your favorite fighters without you mentioning his name. Don't compare this youngster who's fought nobody to Canelo who arguably has the best resume in boxing. There's no comparison. Wipe that white stuff from your chin.

    This...

Dev's Career High Purse is Around $9mil for Kambosos 2, IN Australia On Ausie PPV...Then He Got a BASE Salary of $3mil for Loma, a PPV That Generated Just 150K PPV Buys...And Let's Not Pretend Loma Wasn't HALF Responsible (Minimum & Probably MORE) for the 150k...Point Being, Devin Haney is NOT a Draw, Shakur Certainly ISN'T One Either, Which Makes the Idea of Offering Shakur 25% of the Purse ABSURD...

Dev DIDN'T Want that Smoke, Simple As...

If Dev was a PROVEN Draw, Sure...

25% of a Canelo, Tank or Joshua (Pre 2nd Usyk Loss) Purse is FAIR...25% for a Guy w/Just 1 PPV and 2 Title Defenses Under His Belt Though???:Jest:...Shakur Made $1.5mil for Nakathila, $1.7mil for Herring, Took SHORT Money to Unify w/Valdez (They BOTH Did to Make the Fight Happen), $3mil for Conceicao and ANOTHER $3mil for His Last Bout vs Yoshino...

Best Believe, Dev is PRIVY to Shakur's Numbers as Well, Which is PRECISELY Why He Lowballed Shakur on Some Lame Ass 25% Shit...

Again, vs. an Australian in Aussieland on Australian PPV...

Loma is Dev's ONLY American PPV to Date...The Regis Fight Will Give a TRUE Measure of the Kind of "Draw" Dev Is or Isn't...But Knowing the Loma Fight Only Drew 150k, Even w/ESPN's Promotional Muscle Backing it, REED's Expecting 100k MAX for Dev vs Regis...

& That's ASSUming it's Reasonably Priced, NOT Some $79.99 Bullshit...
