Good news for the fighters that they get some cash back. It must cost serious dough to lay out all training expenses in advance. http://www.mmanews.com/news/88033 I don't see how Shine can sustain their organization though, and how bush league were they for not making sure Mayorga could fight in the first place? This sounds like a recipe for disaster with no real longterm plan. I hope no fighters signed exclusive contracts with that promotion.
Elite XC, Affliction, and now Shine....what is it about these fledgling MMA organisations?....they're run by absolute boneheads.
Absolutely, Shine is waaaay down there. I know several local orgs that are bigger than Shine. But yes, Shine is ran by boneheads
They had a lot more money behind them, but made the same mistake....putting all their eggs in one basket.
