Travis Simms is a bitch. He called Alcine a glorified sparring partner even after he lost to him and made tons of excuses of why he lost the fight. He totally lied about the hurt hand. He said in the interview that he hurt it while throwing an "overhand right" as he sat there clinching his left fist and looking at it. He also said the KD was a slip, and that Alcine didn't even throw anything. This fucker is delusional. ::
plus, and more importqantly, he's horrible to watch. i think that's why he switched to orthodox in the last round, in order to set the stage for a broken hand excuse. the guy's a bitch. i agree. you can tell just by the way he fights. i was happy as hell that he lost. and felt he deserved to lose too.
Before last saturdays fight i thought SIMMS could actually be a threat to everyone at and around 147-160.....but he is nothing but a pest!!! He should've been DQ for all the clinching..

Simms is shit. The guy never ever impressed me and I was thrilled to hear he got KTFO. I never had nothing against his personality but just because he always seemed average to me and to prove to a bunch of people that he was in fact average I'm glad he got beat.

Simms never impressed me. Even against Rivera he fought scared. Shit, the only reason he beat Garcia was by hitting him on the break. He got by strictly on hand-speed and stink. Good to see him get beat. And by a nobody no less.
I feel that he should have had another point deduction combined with a warning, and then disqualified. Simms was very unsportsmanlike in the post fight interview, and at least we didn't have to look at two ugly women screaming this town, only one, his wife who was quiet this time I am sure after being counseled by the network.

I doubt it. The guy has better skills then that.............which makes his performance all the more dispicable. He fights like once every two years, you would think he could have gotten up for this one at least.
:: I wanted to like him so bad. I did like his previous couple fights before this but Travis and his little entourage make him really hard to root for. I had seen him and his twin brother attending some cards at the casinos before and they really mingled well with the crowd and seemed like nice guys but yeah.................you have to be from Connecticut to root for him. :: I wasn't able to attend the fight. The undercards seemed good so I wish I had been able to go.
