A close, somewhat awkward fight where the judges are closely divided between Forrest's jab and defense and Brown's more eye-catching shots... I think Brown gets the benefit of aggression and a very close decision win, acheiving more success in the late rounds than the early ones
I think Brown stops him late. And I dont mean the faded Brown that lost to McGirt, I mean the prime version of the late 80's. Forrest was the type of guy that did very well vs boxers, but could be troubled with pressure and power. He'd be outboxing Brown handily for awhile, but Simon would slowly close the distance, and late in the fight I see him catching Vern with that deadly hook and getting him outta there. Brown KO 11.
