    Larios retains WBC belt!
WBC interim featherweight champion Oscar "Chololo" Larios (62-6-1, 39 KOs) scored a seventh round KO over Marlon "La Rata" Aguilar (17-5-1) to retain his title on Saturday night at the Benito Juarez Auditorium in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. The bout was competitive for several rounds, but Larious eventually took command flooring Aguilar at the end on the sixth and finishing him in the seventh.

he became interim champ last year after Linares suffered an injury prior to a title defense. I forget who the mandatory challenger was, but Linares got hurt and Larios stepped in at the last minute, and won the fight. Now, a year after he was whipped by Linares and medically retired by the NSAC, he's now Linares' mandatory challenger. Friggin' brilliant!
