It was great seeing him all bloodied, knocked down a couple of times and trying to find a way to quit.

    Go Allakhverdiev.

guzman was doing ok till he tripped and messed up his ankle. the guy jumped on him afterwards and dropped him but fight got stopped and went to the scorecards. still, should've been a TKO win for allakhverdiev.

36 year olds who train sporadically are wont to get old, I'd say. And he lost due to a knee injury.

Damn, pretty weird he's 36. Doesn't seem that long ago at all that people were hyping him up, saying he'd beat Pacquiao etc. But that was about 7 years ago or something.

But anyway, he was behind on the cards, that's why he lost - and I'd also pick 39 year old Marquez to slap him around like he stole something.

yea i had high hopes for guzman when i first saw him beat down the late agapito sanchez. even when he beat soto, i thought he was still a very good fighter that would trouble or beat any great fighters around his weight. pretty much went down hill since he got that gift draw vs. the lanky south african.
