louis is droped early becuse of his glasfiber jaw but i think in my mind coes back to puch listons shulder out
The two most overrated heavyweights in history (not named Vitali). I think its virtually a pick em. Sonny might clock Louis within 5. If not, then Louis takes Liston apart in about 8. If forced to pick, I'd go with Louis.
Good fight, I'll go with Liston by stoppage. Brawling or boxing, Louis is getting the worst of it IMO.
Liston. Liston had a jab and power and size. This is all wrong for Louis. Plus he wasn't some white jew like Baer, he wouldn't punch sparingly.
Good fight. Haven't see it before. Liston is bigger and stronger. Louis was better. Louis has to go through the fire to win this...but he does.
My instinctive reaction is to pick Liston. I do think, though, that we all may be guilty of underrating the difference in handspeed here. Louis got his shots off quickly and precisely. He was much faster of hand than Liston. That could be a factor.
Two bums, but Louis was clearly worse. The fake ass tough guy Liston would be tested enough by Louis to crack his glass heart.
All time? I couldn't today?Just answering with a plain reading of the sentence. Muhammed Ali Joe Frazier George Foreman Mike Tyson Lennox Lewis
Better than Louis. I think so yes. I'd pick Mercer, Holmes, Tua , Holyfield, Vitali to beat Louis off the top of my head. I would argue nearly all of the opponents were better than Louis ever beat. Ezzard Charles was probably the best fighter , bum Louis ever fought.
Joe Walcott sat on the canvas once and let the referee count him out!!! Halcyon Days!!! And then Teddy Bert and Angelo sat down and had a laugh about it!! Halcyon Days!!
