Spadafora out boxes him most of the fight. Can he avoid Gatti's power and win a decision?

I'd take Spadafora by wide decision.

Fuck that... Spadafora couldn’t keep Dorin off of him ... Gatti gets to him and hurts him

Dorin is a much harder worker than Gatti.

Dorin hits as hard as my wife and he beat Spadafora up

Gatti got rid of Dorin easily

Manfredy beat the shit outta Gatti. Spadafora schooled Manfredy.

    See how that works?

Dorian's short punches were effective against Spadafora. But the fight was still close. Gatti's more traditional style would've been easy work for Spadafora.

Please... Spadafora hardly schooled him and it was 4 years and three losses later

Spadafora is not better than Gatti and he’s not beating him

Yeah and we’re matching him against Paul Spadafora, not Alexis Arguello

Did Paul Spadafora even beat anybody as “good” as Ivan Robinson?

Gatti wins this. Even though he was wildly overrated when he was fighting, he has now become underrated.

Spadafora wont be able to keep him off and he doesnt have a good enough chin to survive 12 Rounds

LOL. You probably should have left that last sentence off, bro.

Spadafora pitched a shut out over Pito Cardona, and Cardona obliterated Robinson in 3.

So, to answer your question, YES... he beat someone "better" than Ivan Robinson.

Pito Cardona... Christ ... that’s Spadafora’s crowning achievement ... Pito Cardona

I’d guess beating Ivan Robinson is Cardona’s unless we consider his decision over Golden Johnson

so it’s a wash... Spadafora bested Cardona, Gatti easily dispatched Dorin

point is, you guys are picking Spadafora and expecting him to be miles ahead in the fight and that’s fucking crazy. Gatti is a lot better than Chucky T or Dennis “Don’t Call Me Steve” Irwin

As you know, styles make fights. So all the discussion about who beat who is irrelevant except to dispel this idea you seem to have that Spadafora is not on the same level as Gatti. That's absurd.

The fact remains that Gatti was a guy who looked for the big shot, and Spaddy was pretty good at avoiding big shots.

Dorin beat Spaddy, but Dorin beat him on volume - not Gatti's game.

Gatti would be eating Spadafora's jab all night.

    Nobody said this

I think Gatti was “better” and I think he’d win but I said absolutely nothing about “levels” ... you pulled it out of your ass

Even if you're right and Gatti is on another level than Spadafora (I disagree), Spadafora's style is terrible for Gatti.

Spaddy was More TECHNICAL But Gatti Was TOUGHER and More of a NATURAL Fighter...

Good Enough Footwork, Quick Enough Hands, More than Enough Power and the Mindset to Consistently BRING the Fight to Spaddy, Catch Him w/Wide, Looping Shots and Eventually Stop Him Late...

Spaddy Would Win the First 3-4 Rounds Off Skill, But Gatti Eventually Lures Him into a Dog Fight and Gets Him Out of there Somewhere After the 10th...

Absolute BEST Case Scenario for Spaddy is He BARELY Survives to Hear the Final Bell and Wins a Disputed Decision...
