Probably most members here would disagree with me but at 147 Spence would be a problem for Mayweather. There is footage of sparring between these two floating around and the word is Spence held his own. These two don't seem to like each other also. I think that's more on Mayweather because he is envious of any fighter that's famous and popular. Errol recently said Mayweather was jealous of him because he is on his way to do something Mayweather never accomplished at 147 and that's become undisputed. Errol has a good point in my opinion. What do you guys think if Errol became undisputed who is greater at 147 Mayweather or Spence Jr? Obviously Mayweather is greater overall but as far as the 147 division???
Since this isn't in the Mythical Match-ups section, I am to assume they are in serious talks to fight because the Crawford match fell through Spence would compltetely obliterate the current Mayweather
Based on the Logan Paul version of Mayweather Jr one would have to favor spence. The sharper more recent version of Mayweather Jr vs 'dangerous' Don Moore is 50/50 to outbox a weight drained spence
I knew about the sparring session but didn't know Spence said that about Mayweather. I'm not sure if Floyd has responded but I'm sure he thinks he's a helluva fighter and he takes his hat off to him.
I think it all depends on Spence beating Crawford. If he does, I think we can have this discussion. Floyd is the jealous type, though. He really is so insecure that he has to have the spotlight all to himself always. Head to head both at their best at 147? Give me Floyd via tight razor thin decision but if Crawford schools Spence later this year, I’m gonna look like a fool.
