Stevenson vs Valdez: Final Predictions, RbR, ect..

Fight week! Looking forward to this one.

Final predictions? I'm gonna go for Shakur to score a late stoppage, in a dominant performance.

Stevenson TKO 11.

 

Stevenson via 9th round TKO. I think he’s simply gonna overwhelm Valdez with his speed and skill. I don’t see Valdez having any answers.

 

I'm thinking Valdez is too tough and defensively capable fof Shakur to stop. Stevenson isn't a puncher and the weird stoppage against Herring doesn't change that. I'm thinking he either gets a little spooked by Valdez's power and out-boxes him on the back-foot with little difficulty, or steps into the fire and batters him, making Valdez primarily retreat. Either way, I don't see a stoppage here, just a wide decision.

Very much looking forward to this fight.

No way in hell Shakur stops Valdez. Not because Valdez is all that. He's not even that good imo. But he can punch and he is a tough crafty fighter. Shakur is not a puncher in any way shape or form. He's a polished versión of Haney but with a little more pop(not much more).

 

I'll be watching the DAZN undercard this week with this maincard.

If Taylor vs Serrano was on in the UK, I'd probably have watched it.

 

I think speed will kill and CUT in this case. He won’t floor Valdez or anything, but I see him slashing him up and forcing a cuts stoppage.

 

That would be cool. I would love for that to happen....seeing that cheater get stopped. But realistically I see Shakur easily out boxing Valdez. Via UD...thats my final prediction.

Great fight this weekend. Even though I'm rooting for the underdog it's highly likely that Stevenson puts on a clinic on Valdez. Unless Valdez drinks his own personal herbal tea of course.

 

Rolly is a funny guy. I just watched his prediction of Valdez vs Stevenson. He thinks Valdez is going to crack him and Stevenson will get on his bike and make it the most boring fight we ever saw. He called Stevenson a pussy that has no balls when the going gets tough. Gotta love Rolly always keeps it real .

 

Shakur would wipe his ass with Rolly.

 

Rolly needs to worry about the ass whuppin he has coming towards him in less than a month.

 

It'd be hilarious if Rolly could KO Tank's cherry picking ass. The odds are slim, but Tank has been getting hit a lot lately, so I can't say that Rolly's odds are zero. His chance is a grim one, though.

With Shakur, Rolly wouldn't be able to find him worth a damn, and he'd get lit up at will.

 

I would not mind one bit if Rolly wins because you’re right, it would be fucking HILARIOUS…But nothing is gonna be more hilarious than seeing Queen Ryan KTFO.

Agree that Shakur would just dance around and light up Rolly. Would be a schooling.

 

I doubt there would be any dancing. Rolly has no skill. Shakur would stand right in front of him and light him up.

 

I agree he's still funny though. And brings up a good point. This is a big test for Shakur. Everyone keeps saying what a special fighter he is and he might very well be. But he's never faced anyone on Valdez's level. Valdez has fought with a broken jaw, he has power, heart and experience. Herring was no Valdez. What will happen in the middle rounds when Shakur gets tagged with a big shot. All fighters get hit even the best defensive fighters like Mayweather. Does he have a chin? Does he have heart? Does he have all the intangible qualities ? We won't know until Sat. I've been watching boxing long enough to see hot shot rising stars crash and burn before they can get off the ground. I still think the odds are very much in Shakurs favor and pick him to win but won't be surprised if things don't go like we expected.
