Honestly, guys, I think he looks the same. I do agree with BTG that his prep for fights isn't the same anymore, but I don't really see how he looks any softer than ever before.

 

He just doesn't have the same definition and muscle mass that he used to have. Look at some of his older Pride pics.

I guess it just comes with age though. After all, he is pushing 35.

 

Silva is a BJJ black belt. He's not on the same level as Werdum, but his BJJ is top notch for a HW

My guess is Fedor just eats and drinks too much. I heard he's a big fan of vodka (which surprisingly isn't apparently as big as champagne in Russia). His training doesn't change much and he gets into decent cardiovascular shape. Plus, he probably eats a lot of high fat foods like perogies and pilmeni.

Fedor is going to have his hands full. Silva isn't a world beater by any means but the guy is durable and fairly well-rounded.
