Cory Spinks gave Mayorga and Taylor hell but Judah CRUSHED him (in the rematch).

Maybe Zab can hit Williams with the punches that Margarito didn't have. Maybe the combination of Zab's speed, power and southpaw style, coupled with the fact that Williams isn't a huge puncher (Zab hung TOUGH with Cotto for 11 rounds)...is just the thing to stop this suddenly OVERRATED fighter in his tracks!

    Thoughts?

I give up on Zab. Plus Williams isnt as soft as Spinks.

i think he has a good chance in the first 3-4 rounds pretty much like against Cotto. In these rounds he would still be able to avoid most of the punishment,

After that he would fade like he always does and get outworked maybe even stopped...

    Don't think so....

Cotto, Mosley, Margarita can beat Williams because they go to the body well...

Cintron because he has PUNCHING POWER....

Zab Judah just has speed...and some pop...but not too dramatic...

The whirlwind, non-stop punching, vicious killing machine Margarito who makes Floyd piss himself at the very mention of his name lost to a Dave Chappelle look-a-like. It shall forever eat at the hearts of many.

To be honest, Paul Williams is one of the most dangeous guys in the WW division. I underestimated him because I didn't know what he was at first but the guy will only lose by stoppage. He uses his height and reach and he stays away from his opponents. I think he can beat anyone in the division right now including Floyd and Shane. Judah? Please, just like Cotto the height and reach would be too much as Williams would let neither of them get close enough to do damage and when they do he's going to clinch them.

Who ALSO happens to be a non-stop punching whirlwind and has Floyd pissing himself too.

I don't see much disgrace in Margarito losing the way he did. He lost a very competitive fight to another good fighter, what's so bad about that?

Agreed. The guy will be tough for just about anyone, especially someone who isn't a puncher. Like I've said, it's possible that a Mayorga-type fighter will come along and smash a big one through his flurries, and Williams won't be able to take it... but outside of that, the guy will be extremely difficult to outbox or outpunch. He may well be THE toughest stylistic matchup in that weight range for Floyd right now, much moreso than DeLaHoya was (or Margarito would've been).

Margarito lost to a fighter who "hasn't beaten anyone and didn't deserve the fight with Margarito" (according to Margarito)

Judah quit to Mayweather and fucking BALDOMIR. He'd quit to Williams too.

Anyone who ever said that Floyd was petrified of Margarito and whom even suggested that Margarito could or would beat Floyd, should be bitch slapped.

People said the same thing about Castillo before he tore Fraud's balls off. Fraud's never been the same since.

Floyd was gunna tap that ass!..Castillo has no chance!, Castillo's just cashin' out!,...:crafty: or maybe you didn't notice that X because Roy Jones was still alive and kicking while Fraud was just a mere "reserve" at that point in time,..( Fuck I wish Roy Jones was still undefeated) but anyway,.. look what happenned to Fraud's 'easy victory' ...the HBO crew were mourning as the 12th round began to close off,..with Lederman having Castillo 5 points ahead,... now how dare that slow, one dimensional, skilless Mexican who has no chance...bring the bitch out of Fraud?. He was sposed ta DIE on paper..

it is amazing how many people still give Judah this much consideration. People still hold onto the notion that somewhere in there is a warrior who will not stop until he wins or dies trying and fuck if he isn't the opposite of that.

the guy just got brutalized and while he stood up to Cotto's onslaught did nothing to ebb the flow of the fight

what makes anyone think he can do that with any upper echelon fighter at welter?

"maybe this fight he will put it all together", "he has all the tools to put up a great fight", "his style matches up well"

the fuck out of here with that shit

The Castillo of back then was actually a better P4P fighter than Phony. More skilled, better at cutting off the ring, shorter more accurate, and compact punching. It wasnt just his pressure that gave Floyd trouble, it was his skill and intelligence. Skill that I've NEVER seen in Margarita. He's just a swarmer/brawler with slow hands, and looping punches. I mean sure he throws alot of punches, against STATIONARY targets, but Floyd is no stationary target.

somehow I still see Zab getting a tittle shot soon. NOt cause he deserves it but that's the way boxing works. Eventually somebody like Cintron or Williams will be left without a big fight and Judah will be the next big name at 147 they can add to their records.

What we do know is that Margarito would be on him for 12 rounds, undeterred, looking to chop him up, it's a compelling test which would require all of Fraud's stink,..and those unorthadox shots that come from strange angles are NOT easy to defend against if he were ever to trap Fraud in a corner,..that's why Tony's such a good finisher,..look what Margarito did when he buzzed Cintron?, he sliced through his guard like butter,....Alot of groupies have said "You need a degree of wrecklessness to beat Fraud"...well that's a tick for Margarito, he's as unconventional as they come,..and by the way you mentioned "loopers"... what was that shot that made Fraud dance against Demarcus Corley?,..wasn't that a 'looper'...:dunno: ..there's plenty more of those where Margarito comes from. :nono:

Fraud beats Klitschko on paper too,.. that bum can't even beat Ross Purrity!,..hows he gunna beat Fraud?..

Yo! that's what I've been saying since that Cotto-Zab fight. Everyone else comes away thinking he showed heart when I saw the exact opposite. He was too bitched up to even try! Where is the heart in that? To just stand there and let someone beat the shit out of you while not trying is a true example of not having heart and that fight more than any other showed me the true limitations that Zab has.

I still can't believe how many people came out with all this "Zab showed heart" shit. I mean sportswriters and everything, so much now that Judah is on btalk yacking away at his awesome champions heart. The shit is so fucking ridiculous I'm getting pissed just writing about it.

True Lib, and in kind,..that's why it's a very overrated performance against a proven retard, and now Cotto has been labelled this unstoppable beast who will outslug Mosely with ease  pffffftttttt,...Cotto is enjoying the same sensationalist spoils that Miranda was recieving.
