The coke-snorter of the Hagler and Lalonde fights faces the Tiger of the Giardello and Torres fights.
In that case, Leonard loses, especially in a 15 rounder... he wouldnt be able to keep Tiger off of him but say we take a fresher younger Leonard and have him move up to 160 to box Tiger? thats a bit different ... Tiger didnt like having to chase guys and Leonard could certainly move around and stick-and-move when he needed to... thats a much more interesting fight
The Lalonde fight should tell you a lot. Donny was forced to boil down to 168 and the guy had a bum arm. Plus Teddy was trying to kill him. Yet he still dropped Leonard. Dick Tiger, pretty much any version of the pre-cancer Dick Tiger, does a number on that version of Ray.
If Ray was doing blow for those two fights, he did not and could not have done it in camp for Hagler. Tiger was one of my favorites, but I think Ray outboxes him for a 10-5 win as he was too good and fast for the determined gladiator from Biafra. It would have been similar to Griffith-Tiger, but more dominant for Ray.
