All credit goes to hut*hut who mentioned this in the feather fisted brilliance thread in the main forum, for some reason I never put these two together but fuck man, this could have been an absolute classic. Who do you see winning?
Well of course other than knowing this would be an absolute war...we all at least know its going the distance...
This could be scheduled for 50 rounds and I would still probably put money on it going the distance. Not only are both candidates for a 'featherfisted' thread but also an 'iron jawed' thread. Seriously though, at bantamweight this is a hell of a fight. It'd be a furious, thrill a minute action packed pillow war! I might lean towards a prime Tapia to win a close decision, but McCullough doesn't let anyone have an easy fight.
all other things being equal (thought Tapia had a great chin, McCullough's was superior) this would come down to who has more talent and skill and that is CLEARLY Tapia excellent action fight, But Tapia wins a unaniumous decision
Agreed. It's fight that you know is going the distance 100 out of 100 times so the guy with the better boxing skills is going to take home the decision. That's not to say it wouldn't be competitive though.
