Still no date for this one, but its probably slated for the Spring.

    Early thoughts.

I'm thinking Josh by 9-3ish UD, with the possibility of a late stoppage. But Ramirez has a good chin, so im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.

If Ramirez wins, he's better than I thought. Taylor is proven quality.

Usually, a fighter with Ramirez's style has a really sturdy chin. But does he?

Whatever happens, I know after the fight I know I'll get pissed off because Arum will pipe in and pretend the winner is just the challenge Crawford needs.

    1. Both Hooker and Imam have powerful right crosses, and they nailed Ramirez with their best shots and nothing happened.... Ramirez does have a solid chin.

    2. I doubt Crawford-Taylor is the plan anymore, because Bud is gonna leave TR for PBC.

I think TR's ultimate plan now is to eventually set up Taylor vs Teofimo.

Hard for me to imagine Taylor not being too big for Teofimo.

Do you know Crawford is moving to PBC? Or is it just a hunch?

I think Taylor will win in a fight that is harder than expected. I think Ramirez will bring it to him with a good gameplan, but Taylor is a higher class fighter and will take it. 8 - 4 type fun fight IMO.

On one hand i could easily see Ramirez giving Josh a harder fight than most expect.

Or I could see it going the opposite way, and Taylor gives Ramirez a one sided beating.

    Tough to say.

I'm not ready to give an official prediction yet. I'm going to wait for fight week to provide my final, final thoughts.

Ramirez never impressed me honestly, especially after seeing his last fight against Postol. I can see Taylor giving Ramirez a one sided beating, with some close rounds here and there.

There does exist a possibility Taylor stops Ramirez to the body.

Hooker momentarily hurt Ramirez to the body, and Hooker isn't much of a body puncher.

Taylor is a top 5 body puncher in the sport.

    Good shit!

Josh should win either by clear UD or possibly late stoppage with a body shot.

    Same night as Canelo-Saunders.

I think every boxing fan knows which matchup is better out of the two.

    I'll quite happily watch both.

With one in NY, one in Texas, will there be a significant overlap?

NY? No, Taylor-Ramirez won't be in NY. It'll be in Vegas.

There's a 2 hour time difference between Vegas and Texas - the latter being 2 hrs ahead.

    Taylor confident in beating Lopez:

Really, Lopez v Taylor is the true super fight between 130-140.

This could be the first time in boxing history we see two men holding a collection of 8 belts in the same ring.

Hopefully it happens either late 2021 or early 2022.

Its the best matchup to be made in the sport since Spence-Crawford has lost most its luster.

Personally, I would farrrr, farrrr, farrrr, farrrr rather see two great talents like Lopez and Taylor fight than those two big fucking oafs Fury and AJ.

I'd rather see Lopez clear out 135 than move up. And I wanna see Taylor rematch Prograis. I'm not saying I wouldn't wanna see it, but I think Lopez has issues he needs to deal with at his own weight. Like the assortment of POS which seems to being growing around those weights.

I wanna see Fury fight Joshua just for an undisputed HW champion, not to mention that they're both British. I don't think it's fair to call either oaths, though.

lopez weakens himself to make 135, no sense in him staying there unless its for a big payday

I would add that Lopez vs Taylor is a more debatable matchup.

Fury should be heavily favored over the scrub that is Joshua.
